About Me & The Samuel Store...

My Mission is to bring awareness of people's struggles to other Christians, so that we may show genuine love to each other and to the world. I believe genuine love is only possible through Jesus (God) but I also do not expect everyone to agree with me. I was raised in an Amish Community. I no longer follow that way of life, but I am grateful I was raised in a loving family and community that works hard and helps each other in time of need. I had my own cleaning business for almost 30 years, before committing to The Samuel Store full time.

All of my life I dreamed of being a Mother. In fact, I could not imagine it any other way. As I struggled with infertility for many years, I finally came to a place of acceptance by giving my dream to God. Hannah in the Bible gave her son Samuel to God (1 Samuel 1) and that inspired me to give my dream baby to God. This was one of the hardest things I ever did, but eventually it brought the healing that I so desperately needed. God never healed my broken womb, but He healed my broken heart through The Samuel Store. He gave me something to do when my hands were empty. He gave me a purpose. He gave me love.

Since we all live in a fallen world, most people go through painful situations in their lifetime. Regardless of what type of pain that is, God wants to help us when we hurt. God took my broken dreams that I gave to Him and He created something beautiful, a happy heart that has accepted the things I cannot change. God is an artist! He can create beauty from our pain by turning our pain into peace! If you have any pain and suffering in your life today, give it all to God, and He will return a heart of peace to you! Healing takes time, and it isn't easy, but God knows exactly what we need, when we need it. Trust Him...
We all suffer in some form, and for many, the suffering is silent.
